What Mission Prometheus is

An analog astronaut mission run with HABITAT MARTE Space Analog Station in Brazil – the place where preparation for spaceflight actually begins.

  • Our base analog mission

    Prometheus is our base analog mission: a civilian analog astronaut mission conducted together with HABITAT MARTE Space Analog Station in Brazil.

  • An international crew

    Crew 1 brought together participants from Greece, the USA and India – led by Commander Nikos Theodosiadis, with Vice Commander Manfred Xirinachs as Engineering/Systems Officer.

  • Protocols, decisions, objectives

    Life inside the habitat runs on mission protocols: structured decision-making, defined objectives and crew responsibility from ingress to egress.

  • Isolation & human factors

    HABITAT MARTE runs crewed simulations focused on sustainability, life-support practice, human factors and Mars-class operations – on Mars Time.

  • Certified analog astronauts

    Crew 1 completed the full analog Mars mission and received their Analog Astronaut Certification.

  • Documented, episode by episode

    The mission was filmed and published as an eight-part episode series – from the first day in the habitat to the crew's final debrief.

What a Prometheus astronaut does

  1. Sol 01–02

    Isolation & task saturation

    The crew moves into the sealed habitat and lives under mission conditions: confined space, shared duties, limited resources – the foundation of every Prometheus crew.

  2. Sol 03–06

    EVA sorties & egress

    Egress in analog suits: field operations in the Cabugi terrain, orientation, navigation and surface-protocol drills outside HABITAT MARTE.

  3. Sol 04–10

    Adaptability under pressure

    Testing adaptability and overcoming personal limitations – the core theme of the mission's field work, logged and reviewed as crew data.

  4. Daily

    Operations & protocols

    Comms windows, life-support practice, maintenance and crew protocols on Mars Time – the rhythm of a real mission, run by the crew.

  5. Post-mission

    Debrief & certification

    A final gathering in the habitat to reflect on every challenge and lesson learned, closing with Analog Astronaut Certification.

What Space Readiness is – and why it matters now

Space is no longer a government lab; it is a commercial industrial market. The transition from government exploration to a high-throughput orbital economy faces one unaddressed bottleneck: the humans. We are an aerospace human-performance company bridging the gap between Earth-bound capability and orbital competence – building the essential human infrastructure for the 21st-century workforce.

The Four Pillars of Space Readiness

  • Cognitive Resilience

    How a crew keeps thinking clearly under isolation, fatigue and pressure – measured, not assumed.

  • Team Cohesion

    Crews are systems too. Communication, role clarity and conflict handling decide whether a mission holds.

  • Environmental Survival

    Operating in confinement with limited resources: life-support practice, habitat routines, field operations.

  • Asset Proficiency

    Hands on the hardware. Systems, procedures and equipment handled to operator standard, not tourist standard.

These four angles define the next crew cycles. We develop, test, keep what holds and run again – fast and often – through Mission Prometheus.

Agenda 2030 – the future home of civilian space training

A phased roadmap from a validated mission portfolio to our own permanent training infrastructure, so civilian operators can be prepared to a real operator standard.

  1. 2027

    Portfolio Validation

    Finalizing a standardized, repeatable portfolio of commercial civilian analog missions.

  2. 2028

    Infrastructure Deployment

    Operating our first proprietary Modular Analog Habitat – the future home of civilian space training.

  3. 2030

    The Stellaris Complex

    Activation of a permanent Aerospace Training Complex – the definitive campus for certifying plug-and-play civilian operators.

What the next missions will do

  • Crew 3 focuses on improving the operational efficiency of our space readiness framework.
  • Testing early-stage software implementation inside the mission cycle.
  • Gathering deeper data on human performance and aerospace capabilities.
  • Applications are being reviewed for Mission Prometheus slots in October and November 2026.

My analog astronaut mission with Stellaris allowed me to learn in just a week skills and concepts that normally require months to grasp, and to do it while enjoying myself to the fullest (…) And while this may have been my maiden voyage, it certainly won't be my last.
